SKYMULE MAINTENANcE
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Effective Date: October 15, 2026
Welcome to Skymule Maintenance. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and provide general terms relating to our aircraft appearance services, including aircraft detailing, interior and exterior cleaning, polishing, brightwork, and ceramic coating.
By using this website or requesting services from Skymule Maintenance, you agree to the terms applicable to that activity. Specific service proposals, written estimates, or signed work authorizations may contain additional terms that apply to your particular service.
1. SERVICES PROVIDED
Skymule Maintenance provides aircraft appearance and detailing services. Depending on the services requested and agreed upon, these may include:
Aircraft exterior detailing and cleaning
Aircraft interior and cockpit cleaning
Belly, wheel, and propeller cleaning
Paint polishing and oxidation reduction
Brightwork and metal polishing
Ceramic coating and surface protection
Other agreed-upon aircraft appearance services
All services are subject to aircraft condition, surface compatibility, accessibility, and the agreed-upon scope of work.
Unless expressly agreed to in writing and legally authorized, our detailing services do not constitute aircraft maintenance, inspection, repair, or certification of airworthiness. Customers remain responsible for ensuring their aircraft receives all required maintenance and inspections from appropriately authorized personnel.
2. QUOTES AND PRICING
Quotes are based on the information available when they are prepared, including aircraft type, size, condition, location, and requested services.
The final price may differ from an initial estimate if:
The aircraft's condition differs materially from the information provided.
Additional cleaning or preparation is required.
Paint oxidation, contamination, or surface damage is more extensive than expected.
The customer requests additional services.
Access limitations or other unexpected circumstances affect the work.
We will communicate material changes to the proposed price or scope of work and obtain customer approval before performing additional chargeable work.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, a quote covers only the services specifically identified in that quote.
3. SCHEDULING, CANCELLATIONS, AND WEATHER
Appointments are scheduled by mutual agreement and may depend on aircraft availability, airport access, weather, and working conditions.
Customers should provide reasonable notice if they need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Any cancellation fees or deposits will be disclosed before the customer commits to the booking.
We may need to delay or reschedule services due to rain, wind, extreme temperatures, unsafe working conditions, airport restrictions, equipment issues, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
When possible, we will notify the customer promptly and arrange an alternative appointment.
4. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES AND AIRCRAFT ACCESS
Before service begins, the customer or authorized representative is responsible for:
Confirming they have authority to authorize the requested work.
Arranging lawful access to the aircraft and the relevant airport or hangar.
Providing accurate information about the aircraft's condition and known surface issues.
Identifying sensitive surfaces, special cleaning requirements, and relevant manufacturer restrictions.
Removing or securing personal belongings and valuables where practical.
Disclosing known leaks, loose components, damaged surfaces, or other conditions that could affect the work.
The aircraft must be made available in a reasonably safe condition for the agreed services. We may pause or decline work if access is unauthorized, conditions are unsafe, or the requested procedure may be inappropriate for the aircraft.
5. PRE-EXISTING DAMAGE AND SURFACE CONDITION
Aircraft may have pre-existing scratches, oxidation, staining, paint failure, corrosion, cracks, loose components, worn finishes, or other conditions that affect the results of detailing.
Customers should disclose known issues before work begins. Where practical, existing conditions may be documented through photographs or a pre-service inspection.
Skymule Maintenance will take reasonable care while performing agreed services. We do not promise that detailing will remove or correct pre-existing damage or defects.
If we discover a condition that may make the requested work unsafe or unsuitable, we may pause the work, explain the concern, and discuss appropriate next steps with the customer.
Nothing in these terms excludes responsibility for damage caused by our own negligence or other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
6. POLISHING AND BRIGHTWORK
Polishing can improve the appearance of certain painted or metal surfaces, but results depend on the material, finish, thickness, oxidation, previous treatments, and existing damage.
Polishing may involve removing a small amount of surface material. It cannot always restore a damaged or deteriorated finish, and excessive polishing may cause harm.
Before proceeding, we may recommend an assessment or test area. We reserve the right to decline polishing when the surface condition, material, or available information indicates that the procedure may be unsuitable.
Any additional restoration work must be agreed upon separately.
7. CERAMIC COATING AND SURFACE PROTECTION
Ceramic coatings may enhance gloss, provide surface protection, and make routine cleaning easier. Performance and durability depend on surface preparation, aircraft use, environmental exposure, maintenance practices, and the coating product used.
Skymule Maintenance does not guarantee a particular level of gloss, a completely defect-free finish, a fixed service life, or that a coating will prevent all scratches, stains, oxidation, chemical damage, or other deterioration unless a specific written warranty expressly states otherwise.
Any product-specific warranty will be governed by its applicable written terms.
Customers should follow the aftercare instructions provided for the coating.
8. SERVICE RESULTS AND EXPECTATIONS
We aim to provide professional service and results consistent with the agreed scope of work.
However, aircraft differ in age, condition, materials, previous maintenance, and finish quality. For this reason, we cannot guarantee identical results on every aircraft or promise the complete removal of every stain, mark, scratch, or surface defect.
Before work begins, customers should discuss their expectations with us so that the proposed service is appropriate for the aircraft and the desired outcome.
9. PAYMENTS AND DEPOSITS
Pricing, payment deadlines, deposits, and accepted payment methods will be communicated in the applicable quote or service agreement.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due according to the terms stated on the invoice.
Any deposit, cancellation charge, or other fee will be disclosed before the customer agrees to the applicable booking or service.
If a customer disputes an invoice, they should contact Skymule Maintenance promptly with an explanation of the issue.
10. CUSTOMER CONCERNS AND SERVICE ISSUES
If you have a concern about completed work, please contact Skymule Maintenance as soon as reasonably possible and describe the issue. Photographs and other relevant information may help us assess the concern.
We will review the information and discuss reasonable next steps where appropriate.
Nothing in these terms limits any rights or remedies available to a customer under applicable law.
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Skymule Maintenance will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from the use of this website or the provision of services.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, negligence, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Any additional limitation of liability relating to a particular service must be consistent with applicable law and any separately agreed written service terms.
